Established in 1965,  this is Chile's highest civilian honor awarded specifically to non-Chilean citizens for outstanding contributions in fields such as art, science, education, industry, trade, or social cooperation. 

Made from gilded bronze, some small test scratches on the reverse. Complete with top ribbon buckle.
