A cast brass badge (looks sand cast) with reverse lugs made from pieces of thin copper which have been looped and brazed into place. The LRDG shoulder title in the Imperial War Museum collection looks to be die struck and has different lugs on the reverse. However I believe this is an original wartime piece, most likely cast locally in North Africa.
