A mounted miniature group comprising the Combatant Cross, Commemorative Medal for North Africa, Medal for the Gratitude of the Nation and North Africa Medal. An interesting example of multiple awards for the same conflict. The Commemorative Medal for North Africa was the original campaign medal awarded for service in North Africa in the 1950s-60s. The North Africa Medal was instituted in 1997 with wider qualification criteria and was itself replaced in 2003 by the Medal for the Gratitude of the Nation.
