In hallmarked silver and made by Ikom of Zagreb. The order was established in 1943 and was conferred in recognition of outstanding contributions in the unification of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. It came in two classes; 1st class had a gold wreath and 2nd class a silver wreath. The obverse design has five torches, which is the pre 1963 symbol of Yugoslavia. After 1963 there were six torches.
