Awarded to the French contingent who served in the 1900 Boxer Rebellion. The medal with its original bar is scarce, however the award certificate is scarcer. This one was awarded in 1902 to a soldier in the 141st Infantry Regiment. The document has been glued to a back board for framing. The medal is very nicely toned.
