This is a scarce WO2 visor cap from the Coldstream Guards, one of the British Army's five regiments of foot guards. The four gold bands on the peak signify a WO2 rank, normally a Company Sergeant Major or a Drill Sergeant. 

It has minimal service wear and has issue marks and dates from 1966. It is a size 58 and was made by Compton Webb of London. The cap badge is also a lovely example, far better quality than current badges. The cap has the classic Guards warrant officer look to it where the peak has been cut back and restitched so that it sits almost flush to the forehead when worn.
