A nice example of the belt worn by French officers for parade use in service dress. The double buckles are the pattern worn by officers in Zouave, Tirailleurs Algeriens and Tirailleurs Marocains units. The same basic pattern was used from about the 1920s onwards, this one dates from about the 1950s.
