Wartime private purchase quality army visor cap with brass cap star and brass cherry blossom buttons. General wear overall as is normal with these caps. The interior has the usual false silk lining found on private purchase caps. The sweat band is compressed card, rather than leather, which suggest an early wartime piece. It is intact but most of the stitching which held the sweat band in place is now gone. Some wear to the nap of the cloth overall and a couple of small moth holes at the back. Some crazing to the peak and chinstrap.

Overall in better than average condition.
