A scarce officer's tunic from the 1920s-30s for the Danish Guards Hussar Mounted Squadron. Very similar in design to the Imperial German Hussar tunic. All bullion lace intact, as are the five metal toggle buttons. Rank badge for a 2nd Lieutenant on one shoulder (missing from the other). Minor wear and mothing in a number of areas but nothing unusual for its age. Full dress shoulder boards have Christian X buttons. Tailor label missing but the interior lining is otherwise in very good condition. 

The Squadron still wear this design of tunic but the insignia reflect the change of monarch and the materials today are not of the same quality.
